Making music with other students develops skills that can’t always be learned alone. Our group
Reading music gives students the tools to learn independently.
Our younger students learn notation progressively using Little Musos teaching materials designed specifically to make reading music approachable for young beginners.
Students learn to count, recognise and perform rhythm rather than simply copying what their teacher plays.
Understanding rhythm develops timing, coordination and a stronger overall understanding of music.
Practice is a skill in itself.
Students learn how to work through small, achievable goals so that home practice becomes more productive and they can see their own progress.
Little Musos students have access to supporting practice resources including play-along material, exercises and videos designed to reinforce what they learn with their teacher.
Music is meant to be played.
We encourage students to perform for family and friends and provide opportunities for students to take their music onto the stage.
Performance develops confidence, preparation skills and the ability to communicate through music.
Our teachers are selected for their academic credentials, professional music experience, communication skills and ability to connect with children. They combine musicianship, personality and teaching experience to adapt lessons to different ages and learning styles.

Our child is so comfortable here to the point where she just "naturally" picks up her new music skills. Also builds her confidence.Posted on Google Bharathi MuthappaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Ben has been teaching my son drums at Little Musos for five years - since he was seven - and I couldn’t have asked for a better teacher. My boy is now twelve and sitting grade 6, which still feels surreal when I think back to those early lessons where just holding the sticks properly was a big deal. What stands out most is how patient Ben is. He never made my son feel silly for struggling, and he always found a way to make practice feel like progress rather than a chore. You can tell he genuinely cares. Lessons aren’t just “do this exercise, see you next week.” He notices when something’s clicking or when it’s not, and adjusts. That attention has made a huge difference. A big thank you to Mariela for always helping us organise classes - she makes the admin side so easy. And Kris does a fantastic job guiding the kids in the right direction and overseeing every aspect of the school. You can really feel it’s a family business, and that care shows in everything they do. The progress has been steady and real. Grade 6 didn’t happen overnight, but looking at where my son is now compared to where he started, it’s clear Ben knows how to build skills properly without rushing. More importantly, my son still enjoys playing. That’s not something every teacher manages to protect. I am really grateful we found Little Musos and Ben. He’s been a consistent, positive influence and a big reason my son has stuck with drums and kept getting better. Highly recommend them.Posted on Google Jamie ManningTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. He absolutely loves going each week and is always so excited after each lesson. Ethan is such a great teacher and such a nice guy. All the staff are so lovely and genuinely care about their students. I couldn't recommend Little Musos highly enough!Posted on Google Michelle EdenTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Professional, welcoming family focussed music school, and my 7 year old son's teacher Ethan is so gifted with the way he approaches and teaches the children. My son has improved so much since starting his drum lessons and the recitals really help to build his confidence. It was impressive how much my son learned with Ethan on his drumming classes. In one 30 min class he left knowing playing his first sequence and knowing how to interpreted the music sheet.Impressive! And he progressed so fast. I 100% recommendPosted on Google Vandart StudioTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My 8-year-old son started drum classes at Little Musos in February 2025. The teachers are absolutely wonderful, so welcoming, professional, and encouraging. Ethan has been teaching him since his very first lesson, and he is amazing: patient, supportive, and always making my son feel included. My son even says, “When I kick the drum, I feel like I’m in the sky!” 🥁✨ He loves his classes with Ethan. It’s such a joy to see him not only learning but also truly enjoying music. We can’t wait to watch him perform on stage one day soon! but most importantly, we love seeing him happy and passionate about playing the drums. Thank you so much to Ethan, Mariela, Kris, and the entire Little Musos team. You’re doing an incredible job! ❤️Posted on Google Rumel KarTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. They are the best at what they do.
